16-bit fades in ddraw

Has anyone seen that 16-bit fading tutorial for DirectX. It was on GPMega, but i have seen it other places im pretty sure. tanks, -cow_in_the_well

Some guy mentioned somethin'' about an array of pre-calculated color-values. I think that''s a very good idea.
You should also check out the Alpha Blending article that will help you very much, too.

I rewrote one of the routines from the archives here into inline assembler for practice a while ago. It uses precomputed lookup tables. If you want to take a gander at some semi fast code with room for improvements. (ie. I could have done many thing differently but it was only for practice.) then send me an email and I''ll be glad to hand it over to you.
