I am using DrawIndexedPrimitive to draw some meshes in a renderer I wrote. I run it on my GeForce2 card at home and it is fine. However, when I run it on a ATI Rage 128 Pro card at work my meshes only appear sometimes. What happens is they are appearing when they are partialy clipped out of the view frustum. It looks like the frustum is reverse clipping them. Has anyone seen this behavior or know of any way to fix it? Any help would be most appreciated as I scoured the net for technical issues of this sort and found none for ATI cards. Thanks. -dizzy

I figured out the problem. When I changed the index buffers from ints to shorts it works. I checked the DirectX docs and it said to check the caps to determine the size of index buffers supported. It appears from examining the caps that my card does support 32 bit index buffers but they aren''t working. So my conclusion is that either the DirectX documentation is incorrect, or the card lies to DirectX. It''s a simple case of who do you believe. NVIDIA or Microsoft? Such the conundrum.
