3ds-file chunks

hi, i know that i have to use the chunks 0x4110 and 0x4120 to read the mesh data. so i have to search through the file for these two chunks. but isn''t it possible that you can find these chunks more than just once. for example: 0x4120=16672 so what if the number 16672 is anywhere else in the file?
