Hi! I want to make a 3d vitual forum/chatt. The environment should be a simple bar with high tables (no sitting). You choose an avatar, enter the game, and start chatting with the ones you encounter (by microphone or text). Only requirement is a chatt-system, movement, and network. And I would prefer a first person perspective (kinda like Counter Strike). And maby some easy script for the bartender, who might work as a menu-interface. So how should I go about this? Find an existing game and use the mod-tools? But then what about the license? Or is there some sort of easy to use gamedevelopment-tool for putting together a game easily? I heard about a german product with which you could do all this, and launch a game in a matter of hours. Don´t remember the name though... I do have expreience from map-modelling, java (which is used for scripts by some games) and some other stuff, but I need it to be simple and fast..
