I have a question - does anybody know how to implement the following thing: there is one directX app, for example - game, and another one, which wants to display some info on first app''s screen. Is there any opportunity to do such mixing? Thanks.

I don''t know much about protected mode and virtual memory addressing, but I''d assume you can do this through either a "delegator" DLL or other inter-process communication. You''re not bound to DirectX, though, I''d simply transfer array data if I were you.
A way to totally circumvent the problem, though, might be Overlays. I have no idea what you''re trying to do, but read up overlays in the SDK documentation, they might serve the purpose sufficiently.
