How 2 draw 2 textures on a polygon at the same time?

How to draw 2 textures on a polygon at the same time? I''m thinking of environment mapping,or light mapping or just mixing two textures.How can do it? How can I bind two textures to the same polygon?Which functions should I use?Or I can''t mix textures? Please answer... thanxx!

Look at nehe.gamedev.net and find the tutorial on extensions then look up multitexturing and you should be set, either that or blend another polygon on top of the first one you drew.

Theres a bump mapping article on NeHe which also covers the use of the ARB_multitexture extension. With this extension you can blend light maps, bump maps, environment maps, etc. with base textures to create the type of effect you want.
