I want to use DirectInput8Create. Does the requirement below mean that It can only work only on Win2000 and not WinXP ? Requirements Windows NT/2000/XP: Requires Windows® 2000. Windows 98/Me: Requires Windows 98 or later. Available as a redistributable for Windows 98. Header: Declared in dinput.h. Import Library: Use dinput8.lib. If I use IDirectInput7::CreateDeviceEx. The requirment also never mention about WinXP Windows NT/2000: Requires Windows 2000. Windows 95/98: Requires Windows 95 or later. Available as a redistributable for Windows 95. Header: Declared in dinput.h. Import Library: Use dinput.lib [edited by - oto76mm on September 14, 2002 6:37:41 AM]

No. It means that the least it will work on is 2000 or 98. That also means that it will work on 2000 and XP, 98 and SE and ME. It won''t work on NT3.5, NT4.0 or 95.
