Hi guys , i'm trying to do a top view for an editor , however , there seems to be a problem. When i set the camera up along the Y axis and then set it's direction to the origin (0,0,0) nothing is being displayed ! I'll give u an example of how i use a wrapper to move the camera , and set it's direction. Example: Mat.SetCameraPosition(0.0f,10.0f,-0.0001f); Mat.SetCameraDirection(0.0f,0.0f,0.0f); Notice the -0.0001f in the SetCameraPosition . If i set this to 0 then nothing will be displayed , if i set it to 0.0001f then i will have the same effect as -0.0001f execept the fact that things are reversed. To sum up , if i set the cameras postion at 0,10,0 and direction to 0,0,0 nothing will be displayed . -Edit- This isn't anything related to Near and Far Clipping planes :D Any Clues Guys ? Thx ~The fastest polygons are those you don''t draw...~ [edited by - PiXeLatiOn on September 14, 2002 10:46:45 AM]

If the direction is really the direction and not the look-at point, the (0, 0, 0) won''t point in any direction. You shoould use a vector pointing down (0, -1, 0) for example.

Thx for the reply ,
Actually the direction is the look-at point, (0,0,0) in this case.
