Keyframe animations with .x files
How would i go about if i wanted to use keyframed animations in .x files. D3DX can load skinned meshes but that''s not what i want...
Is the only solution to write my own .x loading routines or is there another way?
How about loading the non-skinned X file meshes in succession
and playing them really quickly to generate the keyframe
animation (with each mesh representing a particular key
frame)? It might sound really inefficient but I had a friend
who did it before and I think he was quite happy with it
even without interpolation between key frames.
