Hey! Can someone point me to a good tutorial on how to create parsers with C++? I have to create a parser which can read the level data in my game. I could probably create something which could do it but I''d like to know how to do it properly. Thanks!

Real programmers don''''t document, if it was hard to write it should be hard to understand

Some old Schildt books taught me to parse, but they were C based. (C++: The Complete Reference, 3rd ed contains what he claims is an OO parser, but it is really the same C parser he showed in earlier C books with everything put in one class).

Stroustrup''s ''The C++ Programming Language'' contains a true OO calculator, which has a parser for tokenizing the input.

Of course, you could also look up "C++ parser" in Google and see what all comes up (I see quite a bit, and some of it looks like you can download the code)
