Hi, I'm thinking of starting my first project and I'm just making my analysis/design docs. I was wondering how good GLUT actually is... Is it as fast as just using creating a Win32 Application (MSVC++) and creating all the functionality (keyb- & mouse-input, win-generation,...) yourself? Is there an OO-variant available? Or do I just add function pointers to relevant functions in my GameClass (for example: glutDisplayFunc (game->display); )? Cheers, Jeroen [edit] ;) was changed in a smiley [/edit] [edited by - jkeppens on September 16, 2002 2:48:38 AM]

If you want an OO glut-wrapper, go for GLT.
