OpenGL Changing resolution in OpenGL

Hi All, I was wondering how I would go about changing the resolution for my OpenGL scene. Currently I am running at 640x480 and the graphics look pretty crappy when I go full-screen (animation slows down in full-screen too). The graphics look better in partial screen mode, but how can I control the resolution in OpenGL. Most games run in higher resolution than 640x480 - don''t they? Thanks in advance! TommyB

Changing resolution isn''t something handled by OpenGL. It''s platform specific.

On Windows, the ChangeDisplaySettings call will change the resoulution of your desktop allowing a fullscreen OpenGL app to render with a higher resolution.

The nehe tutorials (nehe.gamedev.net) give a pretty good explaintions on how to setup a full screen OpenGL window at the resolution you want for a couple different platforms (Window, Mac0S, SunSolaris).
