i tried to parse ascii x file and i done it. so now i have array of vertices (x,y,z,nx,ny,nz,0,0) read from file and array of _faces_,where _face_ is structure which holds indexes of vertices which make face. (whooo, i hope man can understand it). i can render object as point list by calling DrawPrimitive(D3DPT_POINTLIST....), but i want more :-). how can i render object as wireframe model? because face can be made of 3 or 4 or 5 vertices and DrawPimitive() handle only points or triangles. thanx for help, if someone would understand my problem :-)

Just call:

g_d3dDevice.SetRenderState(D3DRENDERSTATE_FILLMODE, 2)

You mentioned faces with more than 3 vertices. These can be rendered using triangle strips or triangle fans (types of primitives) -- read about them in the SDK here.
