Vertex Normals with vertex arrays

I want to use vertex arrays to display an object, but if I wanted to display a cube, which is made up of 8 vertices, each of which shares 3 faces, all of which point in different directions, which vertex normal do I choose?

I''m sorry, I can''t find any command handling your problem. I think you have to store the vertices multiple times or to change the normal array for each face.
