Need help with a Win32 programming problem.
I''m looking to design a tool for use with UnrealScript/Quake3Arena C programming. I am trying to implement the same style of dockable output windows found in Visual C++ and Hex Workshop - you know, the ones with the tabs at the bottom of the output window, "Build" "Debug" etc.
How the heck do you create these? I used Spy++ to figure out the Windows class name, "AfxWin32s" but this doesn''t really help me since I do not know the styles, or messages this class supports.
Does any one have any ideas on how to accomplish this (preferably using straight Win32 API calls/subclassing)?
If you have any links that may help that would be awesome as well.
Thanks in advance,
Dire Wolf

Well, those things are actually more difficult to create than you would expect.
I have only done it using MFC and you can find some articles on them over at www.codeguru.com
