Camera collision with world...

Ok, I was thinking about this. The way Gametutorials.com does it, is with a sphere. But wouldn't a bounding cube be a better thing to do. See, I want to impliment gravity(obviously), and I was thinking that the sphere would have to be rather large to do collision checks with the ground to make sure the camera is not hitting a bump in the road. use ellipsoids instead of circles and boxes. use google and find
"ellipsoid collision detection" or something similar.
