I've already managed to create a skybox, skydome, skyplane and curved skyplane were the edges are pulled down. My next sky I'd like to create is a GeoSphere sky(or is it called a GeoDome?). I've searched through several links at google but most of them weren't very useful. So here I am asking for any help anyone can give me on creating and texturing a geosphere? A geosphere is created by recursively subdividing an icosahedron. Have a look at the OpenGL redbook, they have an example of that (simple) algorithm from page 58 on.

That said, I would not use a geosphere for a skydome, but a polar sphere instead.
