IS there a quick way to put video onto a mesh instead of a texture, then is there a limit on the format i.e. AVI or MPEG, help would be greatly appreciated. Can it be done with Direct 3D without Direct Show.

You could write your own AVI decompressor to write to a Tetxure (for a clue look at NeHe''s site (and yes I know its OGL but the AVI code is trhe same)).
