I had a little trouble with it. On WinME, I noticed that sometimes my game would run at really slow frames rates sometimes. Finally, I realized it was when I rant it after I re-booted. For some reason, after I reboot WinME, I get funny values from timeGetTime for about an hour. Does anyone else know if this problem is for other Windows versions? Or maybe I am just using it wrong. Would anyone recommend anything else? I need my timing to be in miliseconds so plane time() is out. Thanks!

It's annoying that the search feature is still disabled...

Anyway, this topic has already been discussed lately. Look here.

Great link!

However, the question still remains, what is better>

GetTickCount?
TimeGetDevCaps/timeBeginPerion/timeEndPeriod?
timeGetTime?

Maybe the world will never know...
