device reset causing STOP error?!?

Hi, whenever I run my app which has one mesh with a particular shader in the scene and change the resolution(reset the device), the screen goes blue with a STOP error saying something''s wrong with "nv4_disp.dll" or so(the STOP error is there only for approx. 2 seconds, then the machine restarts, so I can''t catch clearly the name...). Can this be due to the drivers? I have a GeForce 2 with detonators 40.41(think they''re the latest) on WinXP Professional. P.S.:This problem occurs only if the mesh has the shader. If there is no mesh or a mesh with no shader(Fixed Function pipe), it is okay.

Every time I''ve had a problem with resetting devices I''ve traced it down to forgetting to delete or reset something. So check to make sure that you are properly deleting and resetting everything that''s device sensitive when the device changes.
