Does OpenGL works on Solaris x86? It seems that OpenGL only run on a sparc computer.

Dunno about SUN''s OpenGL on Solaris x86.
But you could always compile MESA (an open source OpenGL 1.2 implementation, although you are not allowed to call it that way due to SGI''s copyrights) for Solaris x86. See http://www.mesa3d.org for more information. Compiling MESA is absolutely painless.

Well I think so, since the are GLUT libraies for solaris.
