Lo to all out there. I need some help with ideas for a project. We have to write and application (or applications) in java to use the following data structures: Stack Queue Deque General Sequence Ranked Sequence Positional Sequence General tree Binary tree Any ideas of what I could do. If possible I would like to try and make a game. They cant be too big, only have two weeks to do it in.

The stacks, queues and trees could all be used in one program. (i.e. stacks/queues to traverse the trees).
I once had to make a spellchecker program that stored the dictionary in a Binary Search Tree. Doesn''t take long. Or maybe you could do a TicTacToe game that utilises Minimax algorithm (general tree).
As for the other data structures...I dunno????
When all else fails, just write some stupid program that uses them unnecessarily!
