[java] Maximum number of polygons for Java3D

Hi there, I''m gonna start a java3d game and have problems to figure out, how many polygons java can process in one frame to keep an average framerate of at least 20 fr/s on a pentium-2 400 mhz. Please let me know the processing limit, so that I can decide, how complex the elements should be. Thx, barney
