Does anyone have any code that can show me how to load a GIF 89a? The only code I can find is either so overdone it''s inefficient or not documented at all.

I tried Wotsit. That''s where I got the bad descriptions & uncommented sample code. (Heck, some of it was even in Pascal!)

This is somewhat off the original topic, but I would suggest you avoid using GIF format if you can. Look into PNG, etc.

Unisys has been a real pest lately about GIF licensing fees and its better to avoid the issue (again, if you can..)

Thanks, I was worrying about those licensing problems too, but I had hoped they had cleared up by now.

You never said what language you wanted the source in You just asked for code.

But I would also suggest using another format, such as PNG (don't know where you could find code to load it though).
