Occlusion/Obstruction in OpenAL

does anyone hav any idea how to implement basic occlusion and obstruction with the help of OpenAL. How do we make the sound behave differently dependin on our geometery, not just distance. help. On a long enough time line, the survival rate drops to zero.

i think you may need EAX, and even with that all you can do is set the kind of geometry around you to make different acustics. if you want walls to block sounds and stuff you''ll have to do a ray trace between the sound and your position, if something is in the way, ''dim'' the sound.
