I have a skeletal animation of some character. But I wanted to put some "body" to it. I have a maja object file that has a character model. Does anyone know of a way to skin a character in OpenGL?

Doing that hardcoded is a f*****n major pain in the ass. Hardcoded involves loading textures, binding textures, and the hard part - assigning texture coordinates to every damn vertex.

Or you can export to an ascii file and rip the uv coords off it.

look for a tutorial on texturing under articles and resources / openGL
