I''ve gotten used to the ins and outs of Andre Lamothe''s tile engine off the "Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Guru''s" CD, and honestly it kinda chunks... I''ve modified it to use my smaller tiles, and have even had help loading more than 10 tiles into it... I was wondering if there was a better way to implement the same thing, only faster and smoother? [I didn''t put this in the Iso tile threads because it''s not an Isometric engine]

Well, the Isometric forum is not solely dedicated to diamond-shaped tile-engines. 99% of the principles are the same whether you''re using squares, diamonds, hexes, triangles, or anything else. It certainly seems to be where all the tile-experts hang out
