Problem with fog

When fog is disabled a quad and texture mapped on it are OK, but when I enable fog texture is stretched. Why?

did you know that there is a volumetric fog extension for opengl?
i am going use it for my engine you specify the height the fog shall be above your surfaces or was it the absolute height not sure right now but it definately kicks ass
allows you to create underwater fog without foging the entire screen
