Brothers and sisters, let us have a moment of silence, watch out for one another, and take a few minutes to backup our code and project archives, to prevent disaster. Some links and info: WinRAR WinZip Windows Backup Tutorial The contents of my "code cleaner" batch file (to prevent backing up of exe files, as well as any compile-generated intermediary files):

@echo off
del /q /s *.ilk > nul
del /q /s *.idb > nul
del /q /s *.obj > nul
del /q /s *.pch > nul
del /q /s *.pdb > nul
del /q /s *.sbr > nul
del /q /s *.ncb > nul
del /q /s *.aps > nul
del /q /s *.plg > nul
echo Operation completed successfully.

Good luck, and be excellent to each other! MatrixCubed

You can automate the zipping with Info-Zip, which is "free, portable, high-quality versions of the Zip and UnZip compressor-archiver utilities that are compatible with the DOS-based PKZIP by PKWARE, Inc." I wrote a batch file to automatically grab the appropriate files for a program I wrote and zip them for distribution on my web site.

Windows 2000''s cmd.exe can do some advanced stuff with batch files. Be sure to type cmd /?, if /?, etc. sometime.
