Generic multiple view scene editors

Hi all, I apologise if this is another post that''s only occuring because the forum search is down. I wish to program a simple scene editor for my raytracer, to use the standard 3DSMax etc Top-Left-Right-Camera layout, using OpenGL. My Win32 is fine, MFC passable, OpenGL fine; but as this is a tool to assist a larger project I''d really like to find that most of the work''s been done for me and I can concentrate on having it output my file format Can anyone give any suggestions or advice? Am I best to look at just writing a plugin for MilkShape or somesuch or can someone point me in the direction of a nice MFC or Win32 sample with source? Many thanks for any suggestions. You can create multiple GL Scenes using glScissor command.

I have a small project file at http://programming.swangen.co.uk/opengl/mini_projects/viewports/ that shows how this works. With a bit of trial and error you can set up multiple viewports that are treated separately.

Hope that is what you were looking for.
