Could someone point me in the direction to learn how to put windows within windows. I''ve done some winapi programming, and know how to use the message pump, controls, and all that good stuff, but I was trying to figure out how to put a dialog box inside a larger frame where it can''t be moved out of. Like having a container to put my various toolbars within that they can''t be moved out of...they can move wherever they want, overlap, whatever, inside of it, but can''t move out of it. I guess like a second desktop sort of thing. If anyone understands what I''m saying and can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

make the dialog a child of the container window. you may need to load the dialog manually using CreateDialogIndirect. i''d expect mfc''s CFormView to have some pointers on how to implement dialog child windows.
