Is there any option in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 which would number lines of code for me? Or do i have to do it manually? I just hate when compiler tells me that i have an error on line 123 and my lines are not numbered.

you just hit f4 and it will take you to the error
Thats pretty cool...so there is not any option where it will count lines for you and write them out?

You can also double click on the error message, does the same thing.
Don't we all still remember and miss the day we plotted our first pixel?
I''m not sure what you want here, did you want to know what line number a specific line was? In the bottom-right of the window, there''s a line:column number which displays the line the cursor is on.

If you wanted to count the lines of code in a project, you''ll need an add-in. My favorite is this one.

If I had my way, I''d have all of you shot!
