Is Animation Vital in Game Design?

Whoa! Where did that come from? As far as I can tell (looking through my PC Gamer/Zone DVDs) most of the recent top (and not so top) games have playable demos, I was not in any way endorsing downloading cracks or pirated games. The original question was whether you would buy a game, not about whether it was pre or post release. I don't particularly care whether the demos are pre or post release anyway because I never buy games on the day of release.

Get off your high horse, get registered and actually *read* posts before replying.

Oh, and almost all games nowadays have playable demos, you just have to look for them.
