Seperate thread mouse cursor problem

I want to implement a cursor that is frame rate independed in my game. I''ve read the article on how to do multithreading for the mouse but it didn''t do too good of a job how to implement this. Has anyone done this before? How do I do this? OneEyeLessThanNone - happy hollow day(s)

if you use a hardware cursor, it will be frame-rate independent.
I don''t know how to use a hardware cursor, and I think that might be hard to implement. My cursors have translucency in them.
