hiya, I made my x and z centered by y i did not, i lift it up to 0.0f so i won''t have a hard time on my game whether an object hits the ground, it''s easier to remember 0.0 as the ground... do i need to be aware of something? thanks,

just keep in mind that the pivot point will be about the origin, so unless you translate to the geometric origin of the model before you rotate, or once at load time, it might not be what you had intended.

we have some objects placed, like walking characters, with
the local origin between the feet. other objects, like
swimming guys, are placed with the local origin at
their respective pivot. and still other special case
objects that are placed away from the origin.

it depends on the object and how it gets used in the game.
