New To OpenGL

Hello, I''m new to OpenGL. I''ve tried to run the code that have been supplied in Tutorial 01 but it can''t work. I''m using Visual C++ 6.0. I''ve added the OpenGL library in my project but still got an error & warning msg. Is this below code correct? static PIXELFORMATDESCRIPTOR pfd= // pfd Tells Windows How We Want Things To Be { The error msg are: error C2143: syntax error : missing '';'' before ''type'' error C2065: ''pfd'' : undeclared identifier Please help. Thank you.

are you #include'ing the latest version of the glext.h and wglext.h headers (i don't remember which one actually includes the function pointer you're talking about)? or is that from windows.h ... either way, you're not including the right header.

[EDIT: actually it's included in wingdi.h]
