Hey everyone, Just trying to tone down the size of my compiled project .exe, and I was wondering how many of youse have experimented with loading up the opengl dll''s dynamically, rather than statically linking to them to build your project.. How would I be able to detect which DLL to load for a specific video card? ie. If I''ve got an NVidia card, I want to load up the proper opengl nvidia dll...etc.. Would I have to load BOTH the opengl32.dll AND the vendor dll? Or is the vendor dll good enough? any suggestions welcome! Thanks!

My suggestion: don''t bother

It was a pain when we *had* to do it with 3dfx cards and the extra 20k (rough estimate) really can''t be worth it, can it?
