Im trying to setup opengl with a mdi child in borland c++ builder, everything compiles fine, but when I run the program i get a weird exception, but sometimes the program runs fine... I tried the exact same code in a normal window and everything works fine. Is there some special setting I must set in borland builder or something? any ideas?

What kind of exception?

If it is floating point, OpenGL sometimes does this in borland and there is a way to stop it. (it does it in MSVC as well, but MSVC ignores the error anyway). I can''t remeber it off the top of my head, check flipcode''s code of the day section.

I get an "access violation at #blaha read of address #blaha" exception...
Then some code is marked: mov ax,gs:[ecx]

Any ideas that might help?

check your pointers. It sounds like something is awry there. Perhaps you are accessing/deleting an invalid pointer somewhere?
