Bug in the game demo from the last chapter in OpenGL Game Programming

This pertains to the demo game included with the book I mentioned in the title (this book advertised on this site). For some reason, the ambient sound plays until I shoot a rocket, then cuts out and never returns. Also, whenever I shoot a rocket, the explosion sound plays once, and then plays again about 2 seconds later, which I''m pretty sure wasn''t intended. Anyone know what the bug is? I haven''t much experience in programming audio yet. -Q
