Hello, What do you think is better for a beginner: OpenGL or DirectX? I''ve got C/++ down pretty well and I have a little knowledge of Windows programming (enough to get me by, all I really need to know is the basics for game programming right?). What is the best for learning to program games? Thanks! The Light shine on you

Sure thing. I was thinking the For Beginners link was for people that were new to programming in general, not people that knew programming, but not games. Sorry about that, I''ll go have a look now, thanks!

*knows how annoying it is when newer folks don''t use all the resources already at their disposal*

The question is asked very often, and unfortunately leads to flamewars because people express their opinions as facts (which others then attack). That''s why this article was made.
