Link error while using ADSI (Active Directory Service Interfaces)

greetings. i have a problem. i am trying to get familiarized with ADSI and i can''t seem to get anywhere coz i got the following message when i try to link: error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _IID_IADsContainer :/ my includes are: #include <windows.h> #include <iads.h> #include <adshlp.h> #include <stdio.h> #include <commctrl.h> and i use vc++ 6.0 SP5 help?

You''re not linking with some library. I have no idea about ADSI, but if you get this error in DirectX, you can either link with guids.lib (i think), or - and this might work - #define INITGUID before including any headers. E.g.:

  
#define INITGUID

#include <windows.h>

#include <iads.h>

#include <adshlp.h>

#include <stdio.h>

#include <commctrl.h>
