I'm working in Ortho and I was wondering what the best way to rotate a texture in Ortho mode. I've searched on google but there doesn't seem to be much help on Ortho mode rotation. I believe the code should look like glRotatef(RTD(angle),0,0,1.0f); /*Draw Here*/ But when I do this it is rotating about (0,0) in the coordinate system I think. How would I go about rotating the object around it's own center? [edited by - cozman on December 1, 2002 6:03:47 PM]

umm, i don''t really use ortho mode, but i know how to make something rotate around its own axis. You simply have to gltranslatef(positon of object) to the positoion of the object. Now the origin is there and now you do the rotation.

Are you using glLoadIdentity()? If you translate and then rotate you will get a difference than if you were to rotate and then translate.

Signatures are lame!! =)
