Where could I find an simple per-polygon collision detection? I want to use collision detection with my heightmap

You can test collisions with the "D3DXIntersect()" function.
to make a per-vertex collision detection you''ll have to
Lock the Vertex Buffer every time you move the object to
detect any collision.

Someone who has already implemented collision detection would be bored of looking so many tutorials on the topic.
Someone who seeks fro knowledge on the subject would feel relief just after pressing the "search" button at google page
