Well, that would be okay if I had a few cubes to worry about... What if I had a dozen complex objects consisting of a huge number of vertices? I''d spend months calculating the transformed vertices for those. Can''t this be done during initialization, in code?
oh okey, you''d just have to add the offsets to the model''s vertices before you stuff them into your VB,
but really, if you have huge amount of vertices on each model, you should go by rendering them each instead with their own trans/drawprimitive,
i think models having 200+ verts merit their own trans/drawprimitive,
take a look here, all have their own trans/drawprimitive, runs 50 fps on p3-500, geforce2
anyway, that''s just my thoughts, so am not really sure if what i''m doing is the right way, you could check at nvidia''s developer section, they have lots of articles on how and the right way to optimize your apps,
