Afternoon people, This is probaly trivial, but heh!! I am trying to pass a this pointer as a paramter to the WIN32 CreateThread function! ie m_hThrdHdle = CreateThread(NULL, 0, StartThread, (void**)this, NULL, &m_dThrdId); And then use it to get back into the class to start the thread (springboard effect) as follows DWORD WINAPI StartServer(LPVOID pParam) { (CServer*)&pParam->Test(); return 0; } but this throws up an error informing me that the pParam should be an object before i can call class members?? Anybody got any ideas?? Please! Regards Paul
