outline fonts (tut. 14) + dark shape

I''ve donwloaded lesson 14 (outline fonts) to insert some text in my OpenGL scene. The problem is that each time I call GLPrint(..) the other shapes become darker. What''s going on ? I realise that it is probably a very simple problem !! Thanks !

try a glcolor4f(1, 1, 1, 1) call right after you print text.
