Can anyone please explain to me what the clip space is so as 2 make sense of the following sentence. "You need to transform to clip space first before drawing." Thanx One by one, the peguins steal my sanity.

Could it be that u are mapping/texturing onto a wireframe structure?

No, I just need to know what they mean by clip space. It''s so that I can project volume shadows to infinity uses homoginouse coordinates. glVetex4f(x,y,z,0); Apparently I need to transform to clip space before I draw the extruded vertex.

Clip space as generally referred is the space after the perspective projection but before the homogenous divide (x,y,z,w) => (x/w,y/w,z/w). In this space the view cone becomes a parallelpiped (box) which makes it easy/faster to clip lines to it.
