Im getting a D3DERR_INVALIDMESH error from ID3DXSkinMesh::ConvertToBlendedMesh. What could be causing this? I got the .x file exported from quest3d.com and meshes I export with it are giving me this error. My quest for a WORKING .x file exporter will never end.......

Holy !*^!@ Batman!

Quest3d''s exporter DOES work! Just had to reduce the max number of bones per vert down to 2.

Someone slap me!
