Ok, i took some advice and looked at the iPicture code. I used parts/modified parts of the code to convert my icon data into a useable texture. You can load the icon (or associated icon) from ANY file or FOLDER and use it as a texture. ANY file, i want to put a !!!! on that. Not just EXE/DLL/ICO files. This code will load the the icon you see when viewing the file in ''Large Icon'' mode in windows explorer. Let me know what you think about it. I used code i had on my hard drive from Lesson 4. http://www.700r4.com/temp/icon2tex.zip Credits: NeHe - Lesson 4, iPicture Thanks. IT Administrator / Software Engineere http://drdsoftware.cjb.net
