Sorry this isn''t programming related but I need to know. My hard drive (or is it called hard disc?) is slow and there isn''t very much space left on it so I need to format it but I don''t know how to do it. So please anyone help me. BTW I use win 98.

Okay.... here''s the way
Step1: Do u have any BOOT Disk for DOS?
Step2: If u have.......U r ready to ROCK and ROLL!
Step3: Now.. insert your boot disk be4 turning on your PC
then...there will be a options...chose Danm! i forgot
ok...i guess u will know how to chose the options
so the important thing that...u MUST HAVE A BOOT DISK
IF U DONT HAVE 1.... I CAN GIVE YA!
If you go to the Win98 shut down menu and select "restart in MS-DOS mode". Then just type "FORMAT X:" where X is the drive you want to format.

So what happens when I have typed "format c:" and what do I do?
You''ll be asked if you REALLY want to format, then get a percentage counter that tells you the progress of the formatting, the whole FAT(32) tree will be deleted and then you put your Win98 CD in your drive, reboot and the installation will start (that is if you can boot CD''s).
